Q : How have you gravitated toward visual art?

A : I’ve always enjoyed spending time in nature. After getting my first point and shoot digital camera in 2003, I began capturing the scenery I saw around me when hiking. Gradually, I began to get better, and started to acquire better equipment, and educating myself. In 2009, I got my first DSLR and have not looked back since then.

Q : What is your favourite Medium to work in?

A : HDR landscape photography of mountain lakes, or sunsets and sunrises over water. I especially love a sandy coastline.

Q : Whats your least favourite color?

A : In the context of landscapes in particular, I dislike the purplish tone that the sky acquires at times. I prefer the hue to be more baby blue, and I make sure of that in my photos.

Q : Educated or Self-Taught?

A : I have no formal training in anything art related. In my opinion, the wealth of information available online on almost any subject these days is quickly rendering formal education an expensive, and inefficient, relic of the past.

Q : What is your hope for your work?

A : To cheer people up, and to inspire them to go out there and enjoy nature for themselves.
