Q : How have you gravitated toward visual art?
A : As a child I liked drawing very much and I’ve been producing oil paintings since I was 14 years old. I was lucky to have a professional artist as my personal teacher at that time. I’ve never stopped painting, but had a professional career as a psychologist until a couple of years ago. About 20 years ago I began to produce art with the computer, using Photoshop as my favourite program. A couple of years later I discovered fractals and by now I’m a fractalholic, so to speak.
Q : Whats is your favourite medium to work?
A : My favourite medium now is the computer, occasionally in combination with my camera. I use Photoshop and several fractal programs, such as Mandelbulb 3D, Apofysis and Ultrafractal.
Q : Whats your least favourite color?
A : Magenta
Q : Educated or Self-Taught?
A : A professional artist taught me to draw and to paint when I was in High School. I had and finished an university education in psychology, but no formal education in art.
Q : What is your hope for your work?
A : The world of fractals is an amazing world, the possibilities are endless. Fractal art is just in it’s first developmental stadium. I enjoy it so much to discover this new world and to show it to the public.
