Q : How have you gravitated toward visual art?
A : My parents were both creative but didn’t really pursue any creative fields as a vocation. I think they were both wishing they had. As I grew up, they took me to many museums and galleries and were very encouraging.
Q : What is your favourite Medium to work in?
A : I love working three-dimensionally, but lately my love has been manipulated photography.
Q : Whats your least favourite color?
A : Purple
Q : Educated or Self-Taught?
A : I have a college degree in graphic arts which included several photography classes where I developed my own film and prints. I gravitated to digital once cameras had enough resolution.
Q : What is your hope for your work?
A : I hope to move people with my work. I create “stories” that have meaning to me, but try to not impose my meaning upon the work so that there is room for the viewer to create their own personal meaning.
